Many of us are well aware of the plastic waste problem that is plaguing our planet, and it’s going to take a lot of solutions and a lot of people to get ourselves out of the trouble we have put ourselves in. However, let’s take a moment here and now to have some gratitude for the collaboration and progress that is being made on this important front. There are serious problems to solve, and aiding in that effort is a new technology that can help us get there. Check out this article from Forbes that covers “gasification,” an innovation in plastic waste treatment using chemicals that can truly push things circular. With gasification, virgin, plastic material can be pulled directly out of plastic waste. Incredible.
