Earth 911…A Great Resource
Sometimes we like to cover other entities, group, websites, etc. that are doing a great job of working to preserve and save the planet. Today’s spotlight is no exception…or rather, it IS an exception, compared to so many other sites. Earth 911 (earth911.com) deserves some big time digital ink due to their VERY prolific blog, engagement with the community and their very hand “recycle by zip code” search tool. In fact, Google uses this same tool when connecting folks with nearby and appropriate recycling options. From the largest solar panel projects underway in the world to how to reduce one’s carbon footprint via their breakfast and lunch choices, Earth 911 is quite impressive and is worth your checking out!
Did I Mention Recycling?
Yes, I believe I did mention recycling. Earth 911 covers this critical yet often confusing subject in spades on their site. And when it comes to doing your own recycling, here is a link to the “search for recycling location by zip code” tool that they feature on their site. We feel this tool and knowledge should be standard, so we are working to push it far and wide. Great job Earth 911!
