Portco Packaging is one of the first packaging companies to invest in SQF Level 3 certification and achieve the highest rating of food safety in the Industry. Thus, it’s no surprise that our top priority at Portco is ensuring the integrity of the product being packaged in our structures. We focus on protecting the product first, after all, what good is a package if it doesn’t perform this basic job? Once we have designed a structure to protect the goods inside the package, we then focus on limiting the negative impact of the package itself by designing structures with a more responsible end-of-life. This last impetus led to the creation of the EarthGuard line.
